Spring Deer Restaurant

Spring Deer Restaurant has been a staple local and tourist destination in Hong Kong since 1969. Their signature dish, the honey glazed Peking Duck is one of the most in demand meal that people would go try the first time and go back again and again. Situated at the harbour side of Mody road, Spring Deer Restaurant gets filled very quickly. You must place your reservations before going to this place or you would wait a long queue for a table for you and your companions.

Other Peking delicacies also include handmade noodles, walnuts in soy sauce, hot and sour soup, stewed ham and cabbage, freshwater shrimp and deep fried chicken. They are rated excellent by customer reviews. Spring Deer Restaurant order sizes come in three options, “small”, “medium” and “large”. You can go there in two’s or as a group to enjoy their sumptuous meals that have been served since the founding days of their establishment.

Most feedbacks are about crowded and long wait so to avoid this ordeal you should come early before or after the rush hour, usually at about 7pm to 9:30pm, and save yourselves from being impatient in the process. For best seating, you can enjoy the Spring Deer Restaurant at lunch time as few people would cramp the place at this time of day.
